B Corp. Triodos Bank has been awarded 7th place in the 2026 Top 10 Inspiring Workplaces to Work in Europe competition.
The award honours companies that put people at the heart of their organisation to create a positive, inclusive and inspiring workplace.
Founded in 1980, the bank is a pioneer in sustainable finance with a community of nearly 2,000 employees in the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Belgium and Germany using money as a force for positive change in society.
The Inspiring Workplaces Europe judges reviewed the shortlisted organisations across a range of categories including their culture and purpose, focus on employee wellbeing, approach and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), leadership and employee voice and experience.
Triodos Bank was recognised as ‘best-in-class’ for an inspiring culture and purpose with judges noting it sets “an example for many others where culture is lived rather than declared”.
Isabel Workel, Triodos Bank group HR director commented: “Fostering an inclusive, engaging and values-driven culture is fundamental to how we work at Triodos. We’re committed to continuing to build a workplace where co-workers feel listened to, connected to the impact of their work and able to thrive and be the best version of themselves.”
Triodos Bank is the only B-Corp certified bank listed on Euronext Amsterdam and is a co-founder of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, a network of 70 sustainable banks worldwide. Together they work on growing a financial system that supports the real economy and delivers lasting social and environmental impact.
Founded in 2015, the Inspiring Workplaces Group has worked with thousands of organisations worldwide to recognise, celebrate and certify cultures where belief, belonging and growth drive performance.
